Warehouse Operative – Perth (PH1 3AD) – William Wilson

As a Warehouse Operative based in Perth (PH1 3AD) you will be responsible for:

• Providing a high level of customer service by supplying the correct materials.

• Checking goods-in are correctly delivered against delivery notes and goods are booked in on the system then put away accurately and safely. (This will involve manual handling heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)

  Accurately pick and label goods booked out to customers and other branches, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed

• Maintain standards of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety guidelines, including manual handling techniques, use of loading equipment and PPE

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 07.30am – 17:00pm, with Saturday\’s on a rota basis 08.00am – 12.00pm.

• Prior experience in a busy warehouse environment

• Counterbalance forklift licence will be advantageous

• Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic

• Strong numeracy skills and PC literacy

• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a willingness to work as part of the team to support in all areas of the branch

• A full UK driving licence is an advantage
