As a Warehouse Operative based in Cumbernauld, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Serving customers at the trade counter (warehouse) and dealing with any collection requests as required by Warehouse supervisor / Warehouse Manager.
  • Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handling discrepancies appropriately and putting away in a timely manner in accordance with procedures.
  • Picking and packing items to fulfil customer orders and prepare for despatch as per customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets.
  • Liaising with drivers to load vehicles effectively and in accordance with the run sheet.
  • Checking picked orders prior to collection or dispatch.
  • Complying with Company and Depot policies, particularly Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

This is a Full Time permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm.
