As a Warehouse Operative based in Cumbernauld, you’ll be responsible for:
- Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Serving customers at the trade counter (warehouse) and dealing with any collection requests as required by Warehouse supervisor / Warehouse Manager.
- Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handling discrepancies appropriately and putting away in a timely manner in accordance with procedures.
- Picking and packing items to fulfil customer orders and preparing for despatch as per customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets.
- Liaising with drivers to load vehicles effectively and in accordance with the run sheet.
- Checking picked orders prior to collection or dispatch.
- Complying with Company and Depot policies, particularly Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
This is a Full Time permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm.
