Responsibilities

  • Assist in the contracts office by handling customer telephone calls and emails, raising quotations and processing purchase orders.
  • Serve customers face‑to‑face at the trade counter.
  • Build relationships with trade customers to guarantee future sales.
  • Perform general warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems, putting it away and picking & packing customer orders, which may involve manual handling of heavy items.

Qualifications

  • Industry or plumbing knowledge is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with customers and suppliers.
  • Proactive team player willing to support all areas of the branch when required.
  • Enthusiastic learner with a willingness to acquire new skills.
