Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operative based in Ayr, you’ll be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- General warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which involves manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets and ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch
- Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements and providing product recommendations
- Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area when the main driver is on holiday
What we’d like you to have
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training
- Full UK manual driving license is essential
Location and Working Hours
This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 08:00am - 5.00pm. Ayr (KA8 9AE)
