A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Assistant Manager to join the team in our Restaurant in High Legh Garden Centre. The centre at High Legh is owned by the Klondyke Group including William Strike Ltd. We are a family owned business and independent group of garden centres who employ over 1200 staff. We operate throughout Scotland, Northern England and Wales.
Pay
Our competitive rate of pay for this role is £13.10 per hour.
Hours
45 per week over 5 days including regular weekends.

The Role
As the Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading in the front of house operation working closely with our chef and kitchen team to prepare and serve our fabulous food with outstanding service and personality.
What you will be doing as a Restaurant Assistant Manager?
- Oversee set up of the front of house, counters and back of house operation each day ensuring readiness for service.
- Coordinate the team in front of house operation to create a welcoming and efficient service for our customers, taking every opportunity to create a Wow experience.
- Ensure staff have detailed knowledge of our mouth-watering menus to share with our customers as well as creating fabulous counter displays.
- Carry out all required Food Hygiene and Health and Safety checks.
- Manage staff rotas to ensure service level requirements are met.
