We are looking for a Part Time ##employmenttype## Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant at Garforth Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from Β£10 to Β£12.25 per hour, dependent on age.
The hours for this role are 24 per week over 3 days. All positions include weekend work, so flexibility is a must.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide essential support to both our front and back of house operations, ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery, and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and will be responsible for maintaining a productive and clean work area.
Responsibilities:
- Process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher using appropriate equipment.
- Dispose of waste properly, using recycling bins where applicable.
- Handle items carefully to avoid breakages.
- Ensure all crockery and dishes are thoroughly cleaned before use.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in equipment and work areas.
- Close down the kitchen at the end of each shift, including preparation for the next day.
