We are looking for a Full Time Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in Crieff Visitor Centre Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age. The hours for this role are 25 per week over 5 days. All positions include weekends working so flexibility is a must.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.
Responsibilities
- Process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher using equipment.
- Dispose of waste using appropriate recycling bins.
- Avoid breakages and handle items with care.
- Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used.
- Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
- Close down the kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
