We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Garforth Garden Centre. Our competitive rates of pay range is dependent on age. The hours for this position are 30 per week over 4 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.
Responsibilities
- Till operation and serving customers
- Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
- Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
- Assisting our customers across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Requirements / Skills
- Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
- Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Great teamwork
- Hardworking
- Shift flexibility including weekends
- The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
