We are looking for a Part Time Temporary Weekend Retail Assistant to join the team in our Wilmslow Garden Centre. As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
What you will be doing:
- Till operation and serving customers
- Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
- Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
- Assisting our customers across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service. Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Strong customer service skills. Excellent communication skills. Great teamwork. Hardworking. Shift flexibility including weekends. The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.
Hours and Role Details:
The hours for this position are 8 hours per week over 1 day at the weekend. This is a temporary role until June 2026.
