We are looking for a Full Time Permanent experienced Butcher to join the team in our Farm Shop in Woodmansey Garden Centre., As a Butcher you will work as part of the Butcher and Deli Team to prepare a range of freshly prepared meat.

You'll be passionate about quality and freshness and sharing your knowledge with our customers to help them make their own fabulous meals.

What you will be doing as a Butcher?

  • You will be responsible for preparing and cutting carcasses and cutting specific joints/cuts of meat.
  • Setting up counters displays.
  • Serving customer, advising and making recommendations.
  • Support the Head Butcher in production planning for both the Farm Shop and Restaurant.
  • Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste.
  • Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
  • Close down butcher prep and counter area each day including preparation for the following day.
  • Passion for good quality fresh produce with heritage

Competitive Salary based on experience.

Hours & Shift Flexibility

Hours for the role are 42 per week over 5 days. All positions include weekends., Shift flexibility including weekends.
