The Chief Financial Officer & Operating Officer is an integral role to the senior leadership team. You will work closely with the Managing Partner and other senior partners.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end financial planning cycle — budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting — translating numbers into clear, actionable insight for leadership.
- Set and steward financial targets, tracking progress and intervening early where delivery is at risk.
- Ensure the highest standards of financial integrity, with robust controls, reporting frameworks, and compliance discipline.
- Serve as a trusted commercial sounding board on performance, risk, and growth opportunities.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing structures to safeguard liquidity and a healthy balance sheet.
- Lead the firm's relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other external financial partners.
- Lead firm-wide change programmes — from process improvement and operating model redesign to major capital initiatives.
- Own the strategic direction of the firm's technology and digital agenda.
- Oversee facilities management, balancing cost discipline with high-quality working environments.
- Chair and co-ordinate monthly Operational Heads meetings ensuring clear priorities, ownership and follow-through.
- Drive operational effectiveness across a fast-growing, multi-location business.
- Partner with the Leadership Board to sharpen strategy, support execution, and deliver compelling financial and operational reporting.
- Build, inspire, and develop high-performing teams across Finance, IT and Operations.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, ambition, and shared accountability in line with the firm's values.
Qualifications
You will have proven senior leadership as an CFO & COO within professional services with direct LLP experience. Deep familiarity with LLP structures, partner economics, and the commercial dynamics of a firm at scale. A strong commercial operator with a track record of leading transformation and driving growth.
