We are a 2 form entry primary school & nursery situated in the beautiful Tadpole Garden Village and housed in a purpose-built school which opened in 2019. We wish to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 2 on a permanent contract to join us at William Morris. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our team and provide excellent care and education for our pupils.

We are looking for a TA who:

  • has previous experience of leading KS2 intervention groups

  • can build positive relationships with children & staff

Your role will include: contributing to the delivery and monitoring of interventions for individuals and small groups, supporting assessments, adapting learning resources and working with the teacher to support children’s progress and learning. The successful candidate will have experience of leading KS2 intervention groups and experience of adapting resources to support children to access learning.

Hours of work: 8.30-3.10pm, Monday to Friday including an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes per day and 30 minutes as a midday supervisory assistant under a separate contract (paid at NGC J2). The Teaching Assistant hours of work will total 28 hours and 20 minutes per week and will be paid at NJC Grade K (£12.92 to £13.70 per hour). This is a term time plus INSET days contract (39 working weeks per annum and 44.84 paid weeks per annum).
