We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded specialist practice in Central London to recruit a Senior Criminal Litigation Solicitor to join its established team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Criminal Litigation Solicitor with 7–10 years' PQE and a strong background in fraud and white-collar crime to work on complex, high-value and strategically significant matters.

The successful candidate will have significant responsibility from the outset, working closely with leading counsel and advising a sophisticated client base including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, senior executives, public figures and professional advisers.

The Role:

  • Lead complex criminal litigation, fraud and white-collar crime matters from inception through to conclusion
  • Advise clients on high-value and strategically sensitive disputes and investigations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sophisticated private clients and professional advisers
  • Work closely with leading counsel, including King's Counsel, on complex and novel legal issues
  • Provide strategic advice throughout investigations and proceedings
  • Draft detailed legal advice, correspondence and case strategy documents
  • Conduct detailed legal research and evidence analysis
  • Manage matters with a high degree of autonomy
  • Supervise and support junior members of the team where appropriate
  • Contribute to the continued development and reputation of the practice

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 7–10 years' PQE
  • Strong experience in criminal litigation, fraud and/or white-collar crime
  • Proven ability to manage complex and high-value matters
  • Experience advising private clients would be advantageous
  • Private client and/or tax experience would be beneficial
  • Strong academic background, ideally with a minimum 2:1 degree
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong client management and communication abilities
  • Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable dealing with high-profile, demanding and sophisticated clients
  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a specialist team
