This is a unique opportunity to join a nationally recognised Legal 500 law firm known for delivering specialist, high-quality legal advice to clients who have suffered life-changing injuries.

You will manage your own smaller caseload while also supporting Senior Solicitors on complex and higher-value matters, giving you excellent exposure to quality work within a collaborative and well-regarded environment.

The Role:

  • Manage your own caseload of Clinical Negligence files
  • Support Senior Solicitors on complex pre-litigation and litigated claims
  • Investigate liability and review medical records in detail
  • Instruct medical experts and obtain evidence
  • Draft Letters of Claim and other legal documents
  • Assess quantum and prepare Part 36 offers
  • Progress files in line with CPR and Pre-Action Protocol requirements
  • Deliver excellent client care throughout the claims process

About You:

  • Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Experience handling a Clinical Negligence caseload
  • Strong knowledge of the Clinical Negligence Pre-Action Protocol
  • Good understanding of CPR and litigation procedure
  • Experience working to KPIs and deadlines
  • Experience training or supporting junior colleagues (desirable)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong communication and client care ability
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
