A well-established national practice with a strong reputation in healthcare and regulatory matters is seeking a Legal Director to join their growing team. The firm is recognised for its work advising healthcare providers and regulated organisations on complex regulatory issues across the health and social care sector. This is a senior opportunity offering a leading role in client delivery, alongside involvement in business development, strategic growth initiatives and the continued development of the wider team.
The Role:
- Advising on all aspects of healthcare regulation, including compliance and enforcement activity
- Supporting clients in relation to regulatory action by healthcare regulators, including conditions on registration, suspension, cancellation and prosecution
- Advising corporate clients on applications for registration and ongoing regulatory obligations
- Assisting clients with preparation for regulatory inspections, audits and compliance reviews
- Supporting corporate transactions, including undertaking healthcare regulatory due diligence
- Advising on regulatory issues relating to care and education settings, including inspection and enforcement regimes
- Managing complex regulatory matters from instruction through to conclusion
- Maintaining high standards of client service and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and effectively
- Supporting business development activity and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
About You:
- Experienced Principal Associate, Senior Associate or equivalent with a background in healthcare regulatory or wider regulatory law
- Strong track record of advising on complex regulatory matters
- Confident working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach
- Strong organisational and case management skills
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ambitious and keen to take a leading role within a growing team
