We’re instructed by a highly regarded, award‑winning regional law firm with a fast‑growing presence in Manchester and a strong footprint across the North West. The firm is known for its commercial edge, senior‑level expertise, and collaborative culture, advising a wide range of clients including developers, landlords, property companies, retailers, investors, and SMEs.
Following sustained growth and increased demand for contentious property expertise, the firm is seeking a Property Litigation Partner to strengthen and lead its contentious real estate offering in Manchester.
The Opportunity
This is a senior, strategic appointment within a firm investing heavily in Manchester. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the direction of the team, develop client relationships, and work closely with an established commercial property and corporate department that is bringing high‑quality work into the business.
You will be supported by strong regional teams and a leadership group with a track record of attracting top lateral hires.
The Candidate
- Experienced Property Litigation Solicitor at Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner level
- Strong background in:
- Dilapidations
- Development‑related disputes
- Boundary issues, easements & restrictive covenants
- Demonstrable ability to manage client relationships and generate high‑value work
- Experience from a respected regional, national, or boutique practice
- Ambitious, commercially minded, and looking for a long‑term leadership role
- A following is beneficial but not essential, credibility and capability are key
