A Tier 2 Legal 500-ranked insurance litigation practice is seeking a Professional Indemnity Senior Associate Solicitor to join its Manchester office as part of its continued growth. Recognised for its expertise across complex professional negligence and insurance disputes, the firm acts on behalf of a wide-ranging client base including SMEs, corporates, high-net-worth individuals and professional associations.

The Role:
- Manage a varied caseload of defendant Professional Indemnity claims on behalf of insurers and insured professionals
- Advise on complex professional negligence matters across a broad range of sectors and professions
- Handle claims from inception through to resolution, including litigation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes
- Work closely with clients to provide commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, insurers and business partners
- Support the continued growth and development of the Professional Indemnity practice
- Contribute to business development initiatives and wider team objectives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the insurance and disputes teams on complex and high-value matters
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE
- Demonstrates strong technical expertise in Professional Indemnity and professional negligence matters
- Has experience gained within a recognised insurance litigation or disputes practice
- Delivers commercially focused, high-quality legal advice supported by strong analytical and case management skills
- Builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Possesses excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
