The Role:
- Advise on complex commercial contracts supporting day-to-day operations and major strategic projects
- Work on technology transactions, digital transformation programmes and IT outsourcing
- Draft and negotiate software licensing, IT services and procurement agreements
- Support clients on data protection, privacy, cyber security and emerging technologies including AI
- Assist on large-scale projects across energy, transport, manufacturing and life sciences
- Work with clients on supply chain management, product development and routes to market
- Collaborate with international teams on cross-border matters and transactions
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management initiatives
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE in commercial, technology or digital law
- Experience gained within a City, national or strong regional firm or in-house environment
- Strong grounding in commercial contracts and/or digital, tech or data protection matters
- Exposure to complex, high-value transactions and projects
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to advise clients in a clear and pragmatic way
- Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
