This position sits within a highly ranked real estate finance team, consistently recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers. The team advises lenders and sponsors on complex, large‐scale real estate finance transactions across the UK and Europe, working closely with colleagues across London and international offices.
As a Real Estate Finance Solicitor / Senior Associate, you will benefit from exposure to premium clients, significant deal flow and a collaborative, cross‐border platform, alongside clear progression and strong development support.
The Role:- Leading on real estate finance transactions for both lender and sponsor clients
- Advising on a wide range of asset classes including logistics, BTR, retail and mixed‐use developments
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, intercreditor agreements and ancillary finance documents
- Managing deal teams including junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals
- Working closely with colleagues across UK and international offices on cross‐border transactions
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and client growth initiatives
- Playing a key role in supervising and developing junior team members
- Senior Associate with strong experience in Real Estate Finance or Banking & Finance
- Solid understanding of real estate finance structures and market practice
- Experience acting for lenders, sponsors or both
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across finance documentation
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic and solutions‐focused approach
- Confident managing transactions and working with multiple stakeholders
- Strong team player with experience supervising junior lawyers
