Responsibilities
- Managing EL/PL fast-track, multi-track and complex liability claims
- Handling high-value and catastrophic injury matters
- Supporting senior lawyers on strategic and complex cases
- Progressing pre-litigation and litigated files efficiently
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and client updates
- Attending hearings, CMCs and settlement meetings
- Advising on liability, causation and indemnity issues where required
- Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (0-5 PQE) with personal injury experience
- EL/PL experience preferred (defendant or claimant background considered)
- Strong knowledge of CPR and litigation processes
- Confident handling complex or multi-track claims
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong communicator with good client-handling ability
- Commercially aware and keen to progress within a national team
