Responsibilities

  • Managing EL/PL fast-track, multi-track and complex liability claims
  • Handling high-value and catastrophic injury matters
  • Supporting senior lawyers on strategic and complex cases
  • Progressing pre-litigation and litigated files efficiently
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence and client updates
  • Attending hearings, CMCs and settlement meetings
  • Advising on liability, causation and indemnity issues where required
  • Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules

Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor (0-5 PQE) with personal injury experience
  • EL/PL experience preferred (defendant or claimant background considered)
  • Strong knowledge of CPR and litigation processes
  • Confident handling complex or multi-track claims
  • Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communicator with good client-handling ability
  • Commercially aware and keen to progress within a national team
