A highly regarded, modern commercial law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) to join its London-based disputes practice, working closely with a senior partner.

The role offers the opportunity to develop under a market-recognised property litigation specialist with over 30 years’ experience handling substantial and complex commercial property disputes. Known for a decisive, commercially focused approach, the partner acts for a broad client base including FTSE-listed property companies, major property funds, entrepreneurial developers, local authorities, SMEs and private individuals.

You will work directly with the partner and wider team on a varied and high-quality caseload, including:

  • Dilapidations claims
  • Estate agents’ commission disputes
  • Property joint venture and development disputes
  • Shareholder disputes linked to property interests
  • Overage and clawback claims
  • Professional negligence claims in a property context
  • Insolvency-related property disputes
  • Recovery of rent and service charge arrears

The work includes exposure to high-value, strategically important disputes, offering early responsibility and valuable litigation experience. Larger matters are well resourced, and this is not an isolated role — you will be part of a broader, well-established property litigation group.

The firm also invests heavily in its junior lawyers through a structured academy, providing training, development and extensive opportunities to socialise and network across the firm.

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified solicitor up to 4 years’ PQE in property litigation
  • Strong technical grounding with a pragmatic, commercial approach
  • Keen to learn from a senior solicitor advocate with extensive disputes experience
  • Collaborative, proactive and motivated to build a long-term career in property litigation

This is a very sociable firm, with a strong junior community:

  • Monthly firm-funded networking and social events

While this role involves being employed directly within the partner’s practice structure, you will enjoy full access to the firm’s social, training and collegiate platform.

Senior-led practice with experienced lawyers from top commercial firms and senior in-house roles.

Modern technology and flexible working practices.

Freedom to work from the London office, home, client sites or elsewhere.

Focus on quality, value and sustainable career development.

Apply in the strictest confidence online or via telephone.
