The Role- Lead the development of a Commercial IP offering within the London office
- Build and scale an IP practice, leveraging existing client relationships and incoming work
- Advise on a broad range of commercial contracts with a focus on IP, data protection and technology and drive growth across key sectors
- Work closely with colleagues across a highly collaborative and partner-led environment
- Mentor and support the development of junior lawyers within the team
- Lead business development activity and play a key role in driving the firm’s growth strategy
- Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the firm as part of the senior leadership group
- Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in Commercial Contracts and IP
- Existing following of c.£400k+ or strong evidence of business generation
- Background from a reputable City, boutique or international law firm
- Strong track record of winning work and developing long-term client relationships
- Experience advising on cross-border matters or working with international clients
- Leadership capability with a desire to build and grow a high-performing team
- Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach
