An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Real Estate Associate (5+ PQE) to join the market-leading Real Estate practice of an elite US law firm in London.
The team advises on some of the most sophisticated and high-value real estate transactions in the market, acting for institutional investors, private equity sponsors, real estate funds and multinational corporates on complex domestic and cross-border matters. The successful candidate will work closely with leading partners across a broad range of transactions at the intersection of corporate and real estate law.
This position offers exposure to headline-making deals, significant client contact and the opportunity to advise on complex investment structures, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
The Role:
- Advising clients on corporate real estate joint ventures and structured investment arrangements
- Acting on the acquisition and disposal of real estate assets and real estate holding structures
- Supporting complex M&A transactions involving significant real estate elements
- Advising on capital solutions and strategic real estate investment structures
- Working on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions across multiple jurisdictions
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation and related corporate agreements
- Coordinating with real estate, finance, tax and private equity teams to provide integrated legal advice
- Managing transaction workstreams from inception through to completion
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with leading institutional investors and sponsors
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
The Candidate:
- England & Wales qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE
- Strong transactional experience within corporate real estate or a related discipline
- Experience gained at a leading international, City or US law firm
- Proven track record advising on complex real estate transactions and investment structures
- Experience of joint ventures, acquisitions, disposals and corporate real estate matters
- Exposure to cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight transaction deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to interact directly with sophisticated clients
- Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
