EL / PL Paralegal – Liverpool
A top-tier legal firm is seeking an EL / PL Paralegal to join its proactive and well-established team in Liverpool.
The firm is recognised for handling delegated authority fixed-fee matters for leading insurance clients and offers excellent exposure to a varied and fast-paced caseload.
This is a strong opportunity for a Paralegal with personal injury experience to develop their expertise within a supportive and high-performing environment in Liverpool.
The Role
- Manage a caseload of EL / PL delegated authority fixed-fee matters
- Handle Pre-Action Disclosure files and Infant Approval Hearings
- Work on personal injury claims from instruction through to resolution
- Assist senior fee earners on higher‑value and complex matters
- Review evidence and assess key liability and quantum issues
- Maintain communication with clients, insurers and third parties
- Support case strategy and contribute to efficient case progression
- Work to performance targets and service level agreements
- Gain excellent hands‑on experience in litigated EL / PL work within a structured team
About You
- Experience in personal injury claims, ideally EL / PL
- Exposure to litigated matters (or advocacy experience desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage a busy caseload
- Calm under pressure and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Confident using IT systems and case management software
- Proactive, flexible and team-focused approach
