A growing, nationally recognised Legal 500 firm is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join its expanding Birmingham office during an exciting period of investment and growth. The role sits within a highly regarded Litigation team, providing exposure to complex, high-value disputes across PFI, projects, and infrastructure. Based in Birmingham, you will play a key role in a collaborative national team, working on market-leading matters while developing your technical and commercial expertise within Litigation.

The Role:
  • Managing a varied caseload as a Litigation Solicitor, focusing on complex, high-value disputes
  • Working on PFI, infrastructure, and projects-related Litigation matters
  • Advising on disputes involving procurement, construction/design issues, payment disputes, fire safety, and contract termination
  • Acting for clients across both public and private sectors, including health, local government, emergency services, and social housing
  • Handling matters from instruction through to resolution, including court proceedings and ADR
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal documentation across a broad spectrum of Litigation work
  • Working closely with partners on strategic matters while running your own caseload
  • Attending client meetings, negotiations, and hearings in Birmingham and beyond
  • Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to team growth in Birmingham
The Candidate:
  • A Solicitor with experience in Litigation, ideally gained within a reputable regional or national firm
  • Proven ability to manage Litigation matters with autonomy while contributing to a wider team
  • Strong technical expertise with an interest in complex, high-value disputes
  • A commercially aware Litigation Solicitor with excellent client handling skills
  • Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress within a leading Birmingham team
  • Keen to develop expertise in specialist areas such as PFI, projects, and infrastructure Litigation
