An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fitness to Practice Solicitor to join a highly regarded national regulatory team in Leeds.

The Fitness to Practice Solicitor will act for professional regulators, particularly within the healthcare sector, handling complex regulatory investigations and fitness to practice matters in Leeds. This role involves managing cases from initial investigation through to final hearing, with exposure to sensitive and high-profile matters alongside strong support and clear progression opportunities.

  • Manage a caseload of fitness to practice and professional discipline investigations
  • Instruct experts and liaise with internal and external advocates
  • Attend hearings where legal or procedural issues arise
  • Present cases before practice committees and interim orders panels

Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in regulatory, disciplinary or litigation work. Experience in fitness to practice, healthcare regulation or professional discipline is highly desirable.
