The Role
Due to the development and continued growth of the firm’s personal injury EL / PL department, it is now seeking to appoint a Litigation Executive who will be accountable for managing your own caseload advising on liability and quantum on fast track cases.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigated cases involving employers liability/public liability. You will be running the cases from initial instruction to include witness statements, reviewing complex disclosure, instructing counsel, attending conferences and trials, considering quantum and making offers of settlement.
The Candidate
- Paralegal with experience of handling an EL / PL caseload
- Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
- Understanding of case law and litigation practice as well as SRA Standards & Regulations
