A leading boutique family law firm is seeking a Senior Associate / Partner Family Solicitor to join its expanding team in Horsham. This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Associate / Partner to play a key role in launching and leading a new office, acting as Branch Manager within a Legal 500-recognised practice known for its high-quality, privately funded work. The firm has established a strong national presence whilst maintaining a boutique, client-focused approach.

The family team advises a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, professionals and business owners on complex and sensitive matters including Divorce, Financial Remedy and Private Children Act work. This role offers strong autonomy, leadership responsibility and a genuine pathway to shape and grow a new regional offering.

The Role:

  • Leading and managing the Horsham office as Branch Manager
  • Managing a caseload of high-quality privately funded family matters
  • Advising on divorce, financial remedy and private children work
  • Handling complex cases involving HNW individuals and assets
  • Advising on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
  • Driving business development and establishing the firm’s presence
  • Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members as the office grows

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in family law
  • Strong experience handling privately funded and complex matters
  • Ability or clear desire to take on a leadership or managerial role
  • Commercially astute with strong business development capabilities
  • Excellent technical knowledge across core family law disciplines
  • Confident communicator with outstanding client care skills
  • Ambitious with a desire to play a key role in growing a new office
