A leading boutique family law firm is seeking a Family Paralegal in Gloucestershire to join its expanding team. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly established office as part of the firm’s continued growth across the South West, supporting on high-quality, privately funded work within a modern and client-focused environment. Based in Cirencester, you will work directly with a highly experienced Partner, gaining hands-on exposure from day one.

As a Family Paralegal, you will benefit from close mentorship and direct training across core areas of family law, including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and pre/post-nuptial agreements, within a close-knit and supportive team with a clear route to progression and eventual qualification.

The Role:

  • Supporting solicitors on divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
  • Assisting with case progression from instruction to conclusion
  • Drafting legal documents, applications and client correspondence
  • Preparing court bundles and hearing documentation
  • Liaising with clients, courts, counsel and third parties
  • Conducting legal research and supporting complex matters
  • Providing administrative and file management support
  • Delivering a high standard of client care

The Candidate:

  • Paralegal with experience in family law (public / private)
  • Exposure to privately funded family matters
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management ability
  • Confident communicator with strong client care skills
  • Ambitious with a desire to progress within family law
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, empathetic and client-focused
