A well-regarded national law firm is seeking an Industrial Disease Paralegal to join its expanding Manchester or Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist Industrial Disease department handling complex, technical claims while developing your expertise in a top-tier practice.

As an Industrial Disease Paralegal in the Manchester or Birmingham team, you’ll manage a varied caseload of disease-related matters, benefit from strong mentorship and structured training, and gain hands-on exposure to high-quality, challenging work.

  • Managing a caseload of industrial disease claims including HAVS, Short Tail and NIHL
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation and correspondence
  • Reviewing medical, occupational and employment records
  • Preparing evidence and supporting documentation for litigation
  • Ensuring accurate file management and compliance throughout

Requirements:

  • Paralegal with experience assisting on or managing industrial disease files
  • Strong understanding of the litigation process
  • Familiarity with HAVS, Short Tail or NIHL claims
  • Strong academic background
  • Proactive, detail-focused and committed to high-quality work

Competitive salary up to £35,000 depending on experience:

  • 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (opportunity to buy & sell 3 days), increases to 26 days after 5 years’ service and 27 days after 10 years’ service
