Employment Associate – Salary up to £130,000

A leading international law firm is seeking an Employment Associate with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience to join its London-based Employment & Pensions team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with innovative, high-growth clients on complex and high-profile employment matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

  • Manage a broad caseload of employment tribunal litigation, including advocacy at preliminary hearings
  • Advise HR teams, in‑house counsel, and senior executives on employee relations issues
  • Draft and negotiate employment contracts, HR policies, and directors’ service agreements
  • Act for senior executives and high‑net‑worth individuals on exits, team moves, and service agreements
  • Support corporate transactions as the lead employment specialist
  • Provide UK employment law advice to international clients and coordinate cross‑border matters
  • Handle High Court business protection work for employers and employees

About You

  • Qualified solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE in employment law
  • Strong technical skills with a commercial, pragmatic approach
  • Confident managing matters independently with significant client contact
  • Experienced in negotiations and transactional support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially aware with an interest in business development
