A leading national law firm is seeking an EL/PL Litigation Paralegal to join its expanding team. The firm works closely with major insurer clients and has built a strong reputation for handling complex and high-volume Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims. You'll be joining a supportive environment with experienced colleagues who provide mentoring and technical guidance across a wide range of litigated matters.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of delegated authority, fixed-fee EL/PL claims, including Pre-Action Disclosure files and Infant Approval Hearings. You will also support senior handlers with litigation tasks such as instructing Counsel, preparing hearing bundles, and engaging with witnesses. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad exposure to litigation work in a dynamic, fast-paced team focused on high-quality service and technical excellence.

The Candidate

  • Previous experience handling litigated EL/PL claims
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels
  • Confident liaising with external stakeholders, including solicitors and witnesses
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Strong drafting ability, particularly with documents such as Tomlin/Consent Orders
  • Experience with disclosure, CRU, reviewing medical records, and evidence collation
  • Confident in instructing Counsel, preparing for hearings, and attending conferences
  • Good IT and case management system literacy
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, enthusiastic approach
  • Committed to high standards of client service and regulatory compliance
