Job Description
Employers' / Public Liability – Litigation Executive – Liverpool – Hybrid – up to £45,000
About the Role
Due to the development and continued growth of the firm’s Personal Injury EL / PL department, it is now seeking to appoint a Litigation Executive or a Solicitor who will be accountable for managing your own caseload advising on liability and quantum on Fast-Track and Multi-Track cases.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling their own EL/PL caseload. Litigation experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
The successful candidate will handle their cases from initial instruction to settlement, including drafting witness statements, reviewing expert evidence, instructing medical experts and counsel, attending conferences and trials, assessing quantum and making offers of settlement.
The Candidate
- Litigation Executive or Solicitor with experience of handling an EL / PL caseload (2+ years)
- Litigation experience is desirable
- Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
