A top-tier legal firm is seeking a Litigated EL/PL Paralegal to join its proactive and well-established team. The firm is recognised for handling delegated authority fixed-fee matters for leading insurance clients and offers excellent exposure to a varied and fast-paced caseload. This is a strong opportunity for a Paralegal with personal injury experience to develop their expertise in litigated EL/PL work within a supportive and high-performing environment.

The Role

  • Manage a caseload of EL/PL delegated authority fixed-fee matters
  • Handle Pre-Action Disclosure files and Infant Approval Hearings
  • Work on personal injury claims from instruction through to resolution
  • Assist senior fee earners on higher-value and complex matters
  • Review evidence and assess key liability and quantum issues
  • Maintain communication with clients, insurers and third parties
  • Support case strategy and contribute to efficient case progression
  • Work to performance targets and service level agreements

This role offers excellent hands-on experience in litigated EL/PL work within a structured team.

About You

  • Experience in personal injury claims, ideally EL/PL
  • Exposure to litigated matters (or advocacy experience desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Confident using IT systems and case management software
  • Proactive, flexible and team-focused approach
