A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an NQ–2 PQE Solicitor to join a highly regarded Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss team within a leading national firm. Working alongside experienced Partners and senior lawyers, you’ll manage your own caseload of fast-track and lower-value multi-track EL/PL claims while assisting on high-value, complex large loss and catastrophic injury matters. The team acts for major insurers, corporates, and public sector clients on a diverse range of claims including workplace accidents, public liability, and road traffic injuries — as well as sensitive cases involving harassment, stress, and group litigation.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior solicitor to gain exposure to complex, technically challenging work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Candidate- 0–2 years PQE, ideally with experience in defendant EL/PL or personal injury litigation
- Confident handling liability investigations and running own caseload
- Experience assisting on large loss or catastrophic injury cases advantageous
- Excellent understanding of CPR and litigation processes
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Well-organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities
- Professional and personable, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Up to £47,000 DOE
- Hybrid working – 2 days office / 3 days home
- 28 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays
