A highly regarded regional law firm with a strong national reputation is seeking an experienced Corporate Partner, or senior lawyer ready to step up, to play a key role in the continued growth of its Manchester corporate practice. With significant investment in its regional platform, this is a rare opportunity to help shape a high-performing and expanding corporate offering in one of the UK’s most active commercial hubs.
The firm is recognised for advising a high-quality and diverse client base, including entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies, private equity investors and established corporates. This is a senior opportunity to lead on complex, high-value matters while contributing directly to the firm’s strategic growth in the region.
The Role:
- Leading on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A transactions and business sales and acquisitions
- Advising on shareholder agreements, joint ventures and investment structures
- Providing corporate governance advice and strategic commercial guidance
- Driving the growth and development of the Manchester corporate practice
- Building and managing your own client base, supported by strong cross-referral networks
- Playing a key role in shaping regional strategy and market presence
- Leading, mentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team
- Acting as a senior figure within the wider corporate leadership structure
About You:
- Existing Corporate Partner or Senior Lawyer ready to step into partnership
- Strong reputation in the North West market, ideally with a portable following
- Proven track record in complex corporate transactions
- Commercially astute with strong strategic judgement
- Confident, collaborative leader with experience developing talent
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to drive regional growth
