Job Description
The Role
Contentious Probate Partner – Cardiff – Up to £170,000 salary
This is a superb opportunity to join an award-winning Contentious Probate department, ranked in both The Legal 500 and The Chambers, offering specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals.
The team of existing solicitors handles a full range of matters including advising on the removal of executors and trustees, defending claims by beneficiaries, Power of Attorney disputes, court of protection and succession disputes and Inheritance Act claims.
Due to the significant development and expansion of the firm’s commercial offering, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate/ Partner to work alongside the Managing Partner to strengthen their commercial offering and grow the department.
The Candidate
- Contentious Probate Solicitor/Partner with at least 6 years post-qualification experience
- A portable client following would be highly advantageous
- Member of ACTAPS is highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen and a passion for business development
- Attend marketing/networking events for the firm to bring in work
- Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
