The Role
Complex Injury Solicitor – Manchester / Birmingham
A prestigious top-tier national law firm, renowned for its expertise in defendant insurance litigation, is seeking to recruit a Serious Injury Solicitor to support the continued growth and expansion of its team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a highly respected Partner and senior colleagues on high-value, complex claims across motor, employer’s liability, public liability, and indemnity matters. You\’ll be part of a collaborative, well-established team that handles multi-million-pound litigation and delivers exceptional service to major insurer clients and self-insured organisations.
You’ll assist on a range of catastrophic injury and large loss cases, supporting on strategy, drafting legal documents and reports, analysing medical and liability evidence, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to run your own caseload of lower-value large loss claims under supervision.
The role involves attending court hearings and conferences, adhering to client SLAs and reporting requirements, and contributing to the team’s business development efforts through training, case clinics, and marketing initiatives.
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in personal injury litigation or relevant experience
- Exposure to large loss or multi-track claims (defendant or claimant background considered)
- Strong drafting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a commercial, client-focused approach
- Proactive team player, able to work independently when needed
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Enthusiastic about learning, development, and long-term career progression
