A strong opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor / Associate to join a leading national law firm in Manchester. This role is ideal for a 2–5 PQE lawyer seeking high-quality work within a growing and well-resourced real estate team.
This position offers exposure to a broad mix of development, corporate occupier and public sector work, acting for developers, large corporates, funds, local authorities and government bodies. The team has seen continued growth through new panel appointments and client wins, creating excellent opportunities for progression and responsibility.
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will work as part of a collaborative cross-office team, gaining exposure to complex transactions while benefiting from strong supervision, structured development and a high-performance culture.
The Role:
- Advising on a broad range of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, disposals and leasing
- Supporting large-scale development projects and corporate occupier work
- Acting on investment transactions for national and institutional clients
- Working closely with partners on complex, high-value matters
- Managing your own caseload with increasing responsibility
- Acting as a day-to-day contact for clients providing commercially focused advice
- Collaborating with planning, construction, finance and corporate teams
- Supporting business development and client relationship activity
The Candidate:
- 2–5 PQE Solicitor with strong Commercial Real Estate experience
- Experience gained within a recognised regional or national firm
- Strong technical grounding across acquisitions, disposals and landlord & tenant work
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Confident managing matters independently with appropriate supervision
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative working style
- Interest in business development and building client relationships
