A leading City-led, international law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor in Manchester to join its highly regarded cross-office Commercial Disputes team. As a Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor in Manchester, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of contentious matters across multiple sectors, working closely with experienced partners while developing your own caseload and client relationships. The Role:
- Advising on a broad range of commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes and commercial claims
- Handling disputes across litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
- Working on public law disputes, professional negligence, injunctions and reputation management issues
- Supporting on contentious insolvency matters and cross-border disputes
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate autonomy and minimal supervision
- Assisting partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters
- Building strong client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
- Collaborating with national and international teams across the firm
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE in commercial litigation
- Strong contentious experience across a broad range of disputes
- Experience in insolvency is beneficial but not essential
- Confident managing your own caseload independently
- Commercially minded with strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent organisation and time-management capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and effective when dealing with clients and stakeholders
