We’re instructed by a highly respected, award‑winning regional law firm with a rapidly expanding Manchester office and a strong reputation for its commercial, corporate and disputes capability across the North West.

As part of continued investment in Manchester, the firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to lead and develop its contentious commercial offering in the city.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, strategic appointment within a firm that has made multiple high‑level lateral hires over the past 18 months. You will have the autonomy to drive the commercial disputes practice, supported by a strong pipeline of work from corporate, commercial, real estate, insolvency, employment and private client teams.

The role offers the chance to build a high‑quality team, shape the direction of the practice, and work closely with an ambitious and collaborative leadership group.

The Candidate

• Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor at Legal Director or Partner level

Strong experience in:

• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Injunctions and urgent interim relief
• Demonstrable ability to manage high‑value, complex matters
• Strong track record of client development and relationship management
• Experience from reputable regional, national or boutique litigation practices
• Ambitious, commercially minded, and committed to long‑term growth
• A following is beneficial but not essential — credibility and capability are what matter
