Commercial Litigation Partner – Nottingham – Up to £180,000 + Bonus & Benefits

The Role

A leading Top 40 UK law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join its growing Nottingham office as part of a strategic expansion within its Disputes practice.

This is a key senior hire, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team, with a clear mandate to strengthen the firm’s presence in the Midlands market as it continues its trajectory towards becoming a Top 30 firm.

You will work alongside an established team of Partners and senior lawyers, advising a diverse and high-quality client base including multinational organisations, public sector bodies, and blue-chip companies.

The team handles a broad range of complex, high-value disputes, including:

  • Commercial contract disputes
  • Shareholder, partnership, and director disputes
  • Breach of restrictive covenants
  • Defamation matters
  • International arbitration

The Candidate

  • An experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer operating at Partner level, or an ambitious Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to step up
  • Strong technical expertise across a wide range of commercial disputes
  • A proven or developing client following, with the ability to win work and build a sustainable pipeline through networking and business development
  • Commercially astute, with the drive to play a leading role in growing the practice
  • Experience gained within a reputable regional, national, or international firm
  • Motivated by a clear progression pathway, with aspirations toward Equity Partnership
