The Role
Commercial Litigation – Associate Solicitor – Leeds – Up to £80,000 salary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Dispute Resolution team within an International law firm. The department handles a broad range of high-value and complex disputes, both domestic and international.
The team is ranked in all major legal directories and acts for major corporates, financial institutions, and public bodies across sectors including real estate, retail, energy, and infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to be involved in a wide variety of commercial disputes, including contract litigation, contentious insolvency, professional negligence, and regulatory issues.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on high-profile matters, often with a cross-border element.
The Candidate
- Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 1-4 years\’ post-qualification experience or equivalent
- Experience and interest in arbitration
- Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
