We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Litigation / Disputes Lawyer to join a growing London litigation practice. The team is currently expanding and offers the opportunity to join at an early stage of its development, working alongside experienced litigators on complex, high-value disputes.
This is an opportunity to join a practice at an exciting stage of development, working alongside experienced commercial litigators on sophisticated claimant-side matters and gaining meaningful responsibility as the team continues to grow.
The successful candidate will work on a range of complex commercial and group litigation matters, including significant High Court and Commercial Court proceedings. The work is likely to include:
- Complex, high-value and cross-border disputes
- Large-scale group claims and multi-party litigation
- High Court, Commercial Court and Business Court proceedings
- Corporate accountability and commercial disputes
- Competition-related litigation and damages claims
- Injunctions, contractual disputes and other complex commercial matters
- Strategically significant litigation involving multiple parties and jurisdictions
You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for substantial aspects of matters as your experience develops, with increasing exposure to case strategy, client management and the conduct of litigation. The role will involve working closely with senior lawyers on significant proceedings and developing a broad understanding of how complex litigation is run from inception through to resolution.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 – 4 years' PQE
- Training from a strong City / Magic Circle / Silver Circle or comparable firm
- Experience in Commercial disputes and/or group litigation
- High Court litigation experience preferred
- Strong academics
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Experience of complex, large-scale or document-heavy litigation would be particularly advantageous.
