William James Recruitment is instructed on fantastic opportunity to join one of the UKβs most ambitious cross-border litigation practices at a Top 50 UK firm. Our client offers an integrated, partner-led service across corporate, banking, real estate, construction, employment, pensions, dispute resolution, and more.
The Cross-Border Disputes team handles high-value, complex international litigation, including billion-pound asset recovery claims, fraud disputes, and investor/state matters. Clients include private equity-backed businesses, HNWI, and overseas governments, providing exposure to sophisticated international work without the conflict restrictions often found at Magic/Silver Circle firms.
This is a pivotal role: you will manage day-to-day cases, supervise juniors, and take ownership of client matters, supporting a team already ranked in Civil Fraud and rapidly growing in International Arbitration. The position includes international travel (c. 2β3 weeks per year) and a clear pathway to partnership, with opportunities for share options.
The Candidate
- Senior Associate with strong fraud-related disputes experience
- Experience in contentious insolvency and/or international arbitration advantageous
- Capable of managing complex cases and supervising junior team members
- Strong commercial awareness and client management skills
