William James Recruitment is working with a fast-growing litigation boutique, operating at the premium end of the market and recognised for its strength in high-end commercial litigation, large-scale commercial fraud and banking disputes. The firm is well positioned within the City market and is known for handling complex, high-value matters for a sophisticated client base, including corporates, financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals. Its partners are widely regarded as leaders in their respective fields, having built and led successful City practices prior to joining the firm.
The practice is routinely instructed on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes, with a particular emphasis on large commercial fraud cases, financial services litigation and contentious regulatory matters. Work often involves cutting-edge issues, including disputes arising from new technologies and evolving financial products.
Due to continued growth, the partners are looking to bring in an experienced Associate to support the expanding practice and play a key role in delivering high-quality advice on complex, high-stakes matters. The role offers significant responsibility, close partner interaction and genuine long-term progression prospects within a growing boutique environment.
The Candidate
- Commercial Litigation / Civil Fraud Lawyer with strong post-qualification experience (3 to 6 years)
- Experience in complex commercial disputes, fraud or financial services litigation
- Strong academic background
- Comfortable working on high-value, technically complex matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially astute with strong client-handling ability
- Ambitious, driven and keen to progress within a growing practice
