An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Senior Solicitor to join a specialist healthcare litigation team in Cardiff.
The Clinical Negligence Senior Solicitor will act for major healthcare organisations and public sector bodies on complex, high-value defendant clinical negligence matters in Cardiff, managing their own caseload while working closely with senior lawyers and healthcare professionals.
- Manage a caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims, including pre-litigated and litigated matters
- Draft key legal documents including pleadings, reports and correspondence
- Contribute to client development, networking and training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with client protocols, regulatory requirements and internal procedures
Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in clinical negligence or healthcare litigation
Experience handling defendant clinical negligence claims (claimant experience also considered)
Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation processes
Strong analytical and investigative skills when reviewing medical evidence
