A highly regarded regional firm is seeking a Private Client Partner in Suffolk to join its ranked team. The Private Client Solicitor in Suffolk will play a key role in developing and leading a growing practice in the A14 corridor, working alongside established partners across multiple offices while driving the growth of the firm's presence in the local market.
You'll advise a varied client base including HNW individuals, families and business owners, whilst leading a team of six and shaping the future direction of the private client offering. This opportunity will suit a senior solicitor seeking a step into partnership or an established Partner looking for greater autonomy, progression and the opportunity to build a team.
The Role
- Leading and developing a private client practice for a leading South East firm
- Advising HNW clients on complex estates and succession planning
- Driving business development and growing the firm's presence in Suffolk / surrounding areas
- Managing and developing a team including fee earners and support staff
- Working closely with partners across the wider firm on strategic initiatives
- Representing the firm through networking, presentations and community engagement
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and supporting their progression
- Supporting the continued growth of the Private Client Solicitor in Suffolk
The Candidate
- 8 PQE + Private Client Solicitor
- Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts and estate administration
- Proven or developing business development capability
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
- Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative and leadership-focused mindset
