This is a superb opportunity to join an award-winning, modern, dynamic, and supportive law firm offering specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals. The firm’s leading private client team acts for executors and trustees on both contentious and non-contentious matters and is recognised across the A12 Corridor for its outstanding client care and high-quality work.
Due to the development and expansion of the firm, it is now seeking to appoint a Senior Private Client candidate to work alongside existing partners in other offices, driving a resilient and varied legal practice as well as supervising junior lawyers in the team. The successful candidate will be managing a team of two support staff, one senior fee earner, and two apprentices who are soon to qualify in the next year. The firm would be looking for the person to grow the team and bring in more work; someone with Cambridge connections would be great as they want to develop their presence in the A14 corridor between Newmarket and Cambridge.
The Candidate
- Private Client Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE
- Attend marketing/networking events for the firm to bring in work
- Representing the firm through external/internal presentations
- Giving talks at local care homes and charity groups
- Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
